What is Week of Caring?

Each year, Week of Caring connects volunteers from Bay Area businesses to hundreds of projects organized by local nonprofits. Week of Caring, a partnership between United Way of the Bay Area and The Volunteer Centers of the Bay Area, provides an easy and unique way for organizations to strengthen community involvement.

The Volunteer Center will work closely with your company's representative and select nonprofit organizations to ensure that your employee volunteers are engaged in a thoughtful and meaningful project. Our staff is there to handle pre-project planning and to offer support to your company's team leader in volunteer recruitment.

By joining the dozens of other companies and thousands of volunteers participating in Week of Caring, your company demonstrates its commitment to the community in a very tangible way.
